Our approach
Rainstorm Weather was founded on a simple idea: weather information should be honest, readable and free of clutter. Many forecast tools bury the essentials under advertising and noise. We focus on the numbers that matter — temperature, how it actually feels, wind, humidity and the chance of precipitation — and present them with care.
Where our data comes from
Our forecasts are assembled from open meteorological models and public observation networks operated by national weather agencies. We combine current readings with short-range and medium-range model output to produce hourly and seven-day outlooks. Location lookups use an open geocoding directory of cities and towns.
Forecasting is an inherently uncertain science. We work to keep our presentation accurate and up to date, but conditions can change quickly. Please treat every forecast as guidance rather than a guarantee.
